The invite-only era just got a big exception: users with an Ethos score over 1400 can now self-serve sign up — without asking anyone.
How It Works
• Search your score - Head to app.ethos.network and look yourself up
• Log in with X - If eligible, authenticate and prove ownership of your account
• Secure your invite - Input an ETH address and you're in
No invite. No waiting. No asking anyone.
Why 1400?
Every X account with enough social activity already has a provisional Ethos score — calculated from existing social signals before you ever sign up. A score over 1400 ("Known" territory and above) means the network already sees meaningful evidence of credibility.
If the system already trusts you, why should you need someone to vouch for your entry?
What This Changes
• Credible users skip the line - Reputation itself is now the invite
• Invites stay scarce for everyone else - The invite system (and its 180-day bonds) still protects the network from sybils and low-quality signups
• Growth without dilution - Ethos grows with exactly the users a reputation network wants: people who already have reputations
