The Problem
Ethos profiles are rich — reviews, vouches, slashes, market activity, years of history. That richness is the point, but it creates a reading problem: the most established profiles have hundreds of reviews. Nobody reads them all before deciding whether to trust someone.
The Experiment
AI summaries distill everything written about a person into a concise, at-a-glance picture:
• What people consistently praise - The through-lines across hundreds of reviews
• What people flag - Recurring concerns that individual reviews might bury
• Who someone actually is - Character, not just a number
The score tells you HOW credible someone is. The summary tells you WHY.
Early Days
For now, generation is limited while the experiment runs — it rolled out with the Ethos team generating summaries on request, with the community lining up to see theirs. Expect the feature to expand as the summaries prove themselves.
Reputation, Readable
On-chain reputation only works if people can actually use it. AI summaries turn a wall of reviews into an answer — making the world's most detailed credibility profiles as easy to read as a single sentence.
