Ethos reviewers flagged The__Solstice 19 months before Bubblemaps

On October 26, onchain analytics account @bubblemaps published an investigation tying @The__Solstice, one of Fomo’s top traders, to bundled pump.fun memecoins. Ethos reviewers had flagged him 19 months before that thread came out.

The gap between the two raises a question for anyone who follows traders on social platforms: should you have seen it coming?

Who @The__Solstice is

@The__Solstice is a prominent name in social trading:

  • #3 on Fomo’s leaderboard
  • 200k+ followers

That kind of visibility is exactly why other traders pay attention to what he buys, and why links to coordinated activity matter to the people watching him.

What Bubblemaps found

Bubblemaps introduced its thread as “an investigation into @The__Solstice, top #3 social trader, and his ties to a massive bundling operation.”

According to the investigation, four pump.fun memecoins were all bundled the same way, and the wallets involved trace back to his:

  • $STONKINU
  • $BOP
  • $QUEEF
  • $HEV

The numbers on those coins split sharply between his public wallet and the wallets connected to it:

  • His public wallet: down $70k
  • The connected wallets: up $270k

In other words, the wallet people could see showed losses on these tokens, while the wallets tied to it came out well ahead.

The warning was already on Ethos

Ethos is an onchain reputation network where people review and vouch for each other, and every account gets a credibility score based on what others say about it. In this case, Ethos reviewers had raised concerns about @The__Solstice 19 months before the Bubblemaps investigation was published. Ethos pointed to its page on him at ethos.to/pydzm3.

That is the point of a reputation network: the people who interact with an account can record what they know long before it becomes a public story. A leaderboard rank and a large follower count show reach. Reviews from others show how that reach has been used.

Should you have seen it coming?

Ethos framed the case as an open question. A public wallet showing losses on these tokens would not have told you much. A history of reviews from other people, available for well over a year and a half, might have.
