DidiTrading slashes Teeznutz11 for 215 credibility on Ethos

On June 1, 2025, Ethos announced a new slash: @DidiTrading was slashing @Teeznutz11 for 215 credibility score. Ethos also shared early commentary from members of the community, most of them in defense of the account being slashed.

The case shows how a slash plays out in public on Ethos. The accusation goes up, and other people can respond with comments, evidence and votes, so the result reflects more than one person’s view.

Who @Teeznutz11 was at the time

When the slash was opened, @Teeznutz11 had a credibility score of Neutral. Ethos noted that the account had several notable vouchers, including:

  • @dragossden, listed as Exemplary
  • @peceka, listed as Reputable

On Ethos, people review and vouch for each other, and every account gets a credibility score from what others say about it. Vouches from accounts with strong standing of their own are part of what a voter might consider when deciding how much weight to give a slash.

Early commentary from the community

Ethos shared a selection of the first responses to the slash. Three accounts provided supporting comments, evidence and opinions in defense of @Teeznutz11:

  • @dragossden, who was also one of the account’s notable vouchers
  • @yelownft
  • @0xak_

Not everyone took that side. @0xCCKP provided a differing opinion and cast a vote that went against the defense.

Ethos’s posts did not summarize the specific arguments or evidence each person offered, or the reasons @DidiTrading gave for opening the slash.

What the case shows

A slash is a direct challenge to someone’s credibility, and here it was aimed at an account with a Neutral score and backing from well-regarded vouchers. The early responses split between several defenders and at least one dissenting voter, which is the kind of disagreement a slash puts in front of the community to settle.

How it ended

The Ethos posts from June 1, 2025 covered only the opening of the slash and the early commentary. They don’t record the outcome of the vote or whether the slash against @Teeznutz11 was upheld.
