Vibe coding is the future of experimentation. Ethos is the future of onchain reputation. The Ethos Vibeathon combines both: a hackathon with $40k + 10M XP in prizes, showing off what you can build with Ethos.
Anyone Can Participate
Hackathons used to be limited to those with coding abilities — vibe coding unlocked participation for ANYONE. With Ethos's extensive developer documentation and easy-to-use API, vibe coders can create new products or integrate Ethos into existing ones.
Over the preceding 6 months, Ethos CEO @serpinxbt live streamed on X, teaching people to vibe code and build tools using Ethos data. The Vibeathon is the next evolution: empowering the community to do the same.
Free Claude Credits
Ethos users with over a 1400 credibility score can register and unlock $75 of free Claude credits to participate. Just before the competition, Ethos loads up a Claude account for each participant to start vibe coding.
The Prizes
Two categories are eligible:
• Net new product - Build something entirely new utilizing the Ethos score
• Reputation driven improvement - Take an existing product and make it better with the Ethos score
1st place winners take home $2,500 in cash and a year of Claude Pro. Both 1st and 2nd place winners are eligible for massive Ethos XP rewards.
Plus: for apps built or improved on Base, the Vibeathon is co-sponsored with the Base team, offering $30k total in paymaster credits to winners and runners-up.
The Judges
Submissions require a 2-3 minute demo video, watched live on X. The judging panel: @serpinxbt, @davidtsocy, @frankdegods, @zacxbt, and @marco_derossi.
